We have a wide range of dry metal machines that can be used for various purposes, such as graining, deburring and finishing, oxide removal or dimensioning, edge radiusing and grinding. We offer both dry and wet metal machine options depending on the type of material that needs to be processed. Dry machines are recommended for grinding because they have lower levels of grit, and coarser grit in environments that don't require high temperatures.
We have the unique capability to custom design solutions for our customers within our in-house lab, enabling us to create a tailored, innovative solution.
Reduce the mess. The sludge that builds up in the sludge tank needs to be cleaned out regularly. Here’s a tip to reduce the mess. After draining the water, put horse bedding in the sludge tank to absorb the remaining water. This technique makes it much easier and less drippy to remove the sludge with a shovel.
A centrifugal barrel part tumbler can reduce 95% of the work required to deburr or polish parts by hand. This reduces the amount of manual sorting and greatly increases production and returns on investment. The use of a centrifugal finisher to remove and identify any defects or burrs from each piece reduces the time and cost of using a microscope.
The principle behind a centrifugal bar tumbler is the same as a Ferris wheels, but with smaller baskets attached to the edges of large wheels. A centrifugal finishing or harperizing device has 4 barrels. Each barrel is a seat on the Ferris wheel and one large flywheel. Each revolution of a flywheel results is one complete rotation of each barrel. The flywheel spins fast and generates very high centrifugal force, which can be as high as 15 - 20 times that of gravity. This causes contents to slide against eachother under high pressure. The higher pressure allows for faster processing of metal parts and smooth, consistent finishes.
Centrifugal barrel tumbling machines are especially well-adapted for removal of significant burrs and blending lines left by machining. They also offer excellent performance in polishing and burnishing applications. When used with various types of ceramic and organic (e.g., corn-cob) media, centrifugal barrel machines can achieve virtually any part finish from super-fine surface finish polishing to burr removal.
Centrifugal barrel tumbling machines are the fastest and most cost-effective method for deburring and/or polishing large quantities of metal parts at once. Also known as an industrial tumbler, rotary tumbler or harperizer system, a centrifugal barrel finishing machine uses a cyclical sliding action to grind the metal surface. Centrifugal barrel finishing is a type of mass finishing.
Top/bottom machine processes top and bottom in one pass, with 100% uniformity. Every square inch of any part is processed the same way over 100% of the machine's width.
The FC 10 has a variety of performance-enhancing options. The corner stapler attachment has the ability to staple up to 10 sheets simultaneously. The heavy-duty base is mounted on casters for easy mobility. Underwriters Laboratories of the US and Canada has certified the FC 10

Mass finishing is a combination of several manufacturing processes that finish large quantities of parts simultaneously. When a mass finisher uses loose metal parts, friction is created by the container's movement. This friction creates a cutting action that can be applied to the metal surface. It can be anything from heavy grinding, fine polishing, or even heavy grinding.
Gulf States Saw & Machinery Co., Inc. provides a variety of digital finishing solutions. Gulf States Saw & Machinery Co., Inc. can do all your digital finishing needs, from cutting, creasing, folding, and more. Aerocut digital finishing products are the best choice if you want to get up to single-pass cutting, creasing and scoring. These all-in-1 finishing systems will bring your digital production up to the next level.
The GoCrease criser is ideal for digital applications. It allows documents printed on heavy, coated stock to be folded prior to folding. This ensures crisper, cleaner folds without cracking
Vibratory tumblers use a side-to-side movement to shake a bowl or tub in a circular path, similar to the rock polishing kits that many of us played with as children. The finishing occurs in a scrubbing action as the parts and media shear against each other.
